Identify the job of the link
A catalog link opens a place to browse. A source link identifies a marketplace listing. An ordering link may open a buying-service view of that listing. Keep those addresses separate in your notes; one is not automatically a substitute for another.

Match five details after the page loads
Compare the loaded page with your saved record. Check the seller or item reference as well as the product name. A similar image can appear on several listings.
- Item identity and seller reference.
- Selected size, colour and version.
- Quantity and any minimum purchase requirement.
- Included pieces, such as straps or spare links.
- Current amount, currency and charges shown before confirmation.
Treat a broken link as an unresolved lead
If the item is gone, return to the catalogue and search using the saved description or reference. Do not assume that a replacement listing is the same product because the thumbnail looks familiar.
When the destination asks you to sign in, verify the domain and use your normal account route. Keep passwords and payment details out of any comparison sheet you share.
Record the final option
Save a note of the option you actually checked, not just the default version that opened first. Link parameters or an app handoff can change the selected variant. Recheck before confirming an order.
